MODIS SPPA

NASAs MODIS instrument resides aboard the Terra (EOS AM) and Aqua (EOS PM) satellites. Terra MODIS and Aqua MODIS view the entire Earths surface every 1 to 2 days, acquiring data in 36 spectral bands.

The MODIS SPPA Team Team based at ARGANS provide day to day monitoring of ESA acquired MODIS product generation and sensor performance. The Team also carries out validation activities to support evolutions to the data handling architecture at ESA ground stations.
